Vaucelle Swirled Glass Disc Tiered Chandelier
The Vaucelle Swirled Glass Disc Tiered Chandelier hangs overlapping glass discs in stepped tiers around a slim metal frame, narrowing toward the base. Each disc carries soft swirls of color through the glass, so the lit fixture glows like layered watercolor.
Measures 43 cm / 16.9" across and 33 cm / 13" tall, hung on a chain from a round canopy. Choose red, white or amber glass, paired with a nickel or gold frame and chain. For hardwired ceiling installation. Takes E12/E14 candelabra bulbs (not included; a 3000K warm white suits it best).

Compact size
At 16.9 inches across, it suits entries, bedrooms and smaller dining nooks.

The glass
Swirls of color in every disc
Color is swirled through each round disc rather than painted on, so the pattern stays soft and lit from within.

Red, white or amber
Each glass color can be paired with a nickel or gold frame and chain.

Choose your finish
Nickel or gold
The canopy, chain and frame share one finish.

How it is built
Tiers that narrow to the base
Overlapping discs hang in stepped rings from a slim frame, each ring a little smaller than the one above.

Seen from below
The glow
A glow like layered watercolor
Where the discs overlap, the color deepens; where they part, the light comes through softer.
Where it fits best
A soft glow for smaller rooms

Entryway
Hung in an entry, Vaucelle greets guests with a soft wash of color, and its compact size keeps the space open.
Finding your fit
At 16.9 inches across, Vaucelle suits entryways, bedrooms and dining nooks of about 8 by 10 feet, or hang two over a kitchen island. Use the 39.4-inch chain to set the height, keeping about 7 feet of clearance where people walk underneath.

Questions and answers
Before you buy
What size room does it suit?
It suits entryways, bedrooms and dining nooks of about 8 by 10 feet; in larger spaces, hang two.
How long is the chain?
It comes with a 100 cm / 39.4" chain; for a longer one, email kay@severnlighting.com.
What bulbs does it take?
It takes E12/E14 candelabra bulbs, not included and purchased separately; a 3000K warm white suits it best.
Can it go on a sloped ceiling?
Yes. The chain hangs straight down, so the tiers stay level under a sloped ceiling.
Which colors and finishes can I choose?
Red, white or amber glass, each with a nickel or gold frame and chain, six combinations in all.
Do I need an electrician?
It is hardwired, so we recommend a licensed electrician. It works with a standard wall switch (not included).

- Eligibility: Items must be unused and in original condition with all tags, labels, packaging, accessories, and manuals intact. Exchanges & Cancellations:
- Exchanges: The fastest route is to return the original piece, then place a new order once the return is approved. For quality or damage issues we cover both directions; for personal-preference exchanges, the customer covers return shipping on the original plus the full price of the new piece.
- Order Cancellation: Stock items can be cancelled free of charge within 24 hours. After 24 hours but before shipping, a $50 handling fee applies. - Step 3 — Pack and ship: Repack the piece securely in its original packaging with all accessories and a copy of your order confirmation. Mark the RMA number clearly on the outside of the parcel, then email us the return tracking number.
- Step 4 — Inspection: We inspect returned pieces within 3-5 business days of arrival and confirm approval by email.
Refund Processing:
- Timing: Refunds are issued automatically to your original payment method — typically 1-3 business days for PayPal and 5-7 business days for credit or debit cards. Your bank may need additional time to post the credit. If you have not received your refund within 15 business days of approval, email us with your order number.
- Return Address: Returns are received at our facility in Jiangmen, Guangdong, China. For customer-initiated returns, please factor international return shipping into your decision — we will confirm the full address and estimated cost when we issue your RMA number.

Hand-Formed Art Glass, Made to Hold the Light
Every glass piece on this fixture is shaped by hand from molten glass: gathered, blown, colored and cooled one at a time, so the light it carries has real depth.
From Furnace to Fixture in Four Hand-Worked Stages
Nothing here is stamped out by a machine. A single glass piece can take hours from the first gather to the final inspection.

Melt and gather
Raw glass is melted at around 2,000°F, then a glowing gather is lifted from the furnace on the end of a steel blowpipe.

Blow and shape
The artisan turns, blows and reheats the glass, forming it with paddles and hand tools while it is still soft.

Color and texture
Color is worked into the glass itself. That is where the swirls, ribbing and texture you see in the finished piece come from.

Anneal and inspect
Each piece cools slowly in an annealing oven to relieve stress, then is checked by hand before it is fitted to the fixture.
Why Hand-Blown Glass Looks Better in Your Room

Light with depth
Light bends through thick, uneven glass, so it glows softly in layers instead of shining flat, and it is easy on the eyes.
Truly one of a kind
Because every piece is shaped by hand, no two are exactly alike. The fixture you receive is its own.
Color that stays true
Color is fused into the glass, so it will not fade, yellow or peel the way coatings and plastics can.
Beautiful switched off
In daylight the glass still catches the light in the room, so the fixture reads as sculpture, not just hardware.
Hand-Formed Art Glass vs. Molded Glass vs. Acrylic Resin
In a small product photo the three can look alike. Here is how they score where it counts once the fixture is in your home.
What we use
SevernLighting hand-formed art glass
Top marks on every count that shows once it is lit.
Molded glass
Acrylic or resinDepth of light
Light refracts through real glass in a soft, layered glow
One-of-a-kind character
Shaped by hand, so no two pieces are identical
Color over the years
Color is fused in, so it will not fade or yellow
Comfort with bulb heat
Stays stable close to the bulb, year after year
Weight and feel
Solid and substantial, cool to the touch
Lasting value
A piece of glass art rather than a stand-in
A Wide Spectrum of Art Glass Colors
From clear and smoke to amber, blush and olive, our glass is made in a broad range of tones, and many fixtures can be made in a color not listed on the page.

Signs of the Hand, Not Flaws
Hand-formed glass carries small marks of how it was made. They are part of what makes the piece worth owning.
Tiny seed bubbles
Small air bubbles trapped as the glass is worked are a classic sign of hand-blown glass.
Soft shifts in tone
Color may run a little deeper or lighter from piece to piece, much like the grain in natural wood.
Gentle surface waves
Soft ripples and slightly uneven edges catch the light and give the glass a sense of movement.
Product photos show a representative piece. Your glass will differ slightly, and that is what makes it yours.
