Electroplated metal frame
The gold-finished frame traces the stone with layered, curved bands. Electroplating gives the metal its decorative finish; polishing emphasizes the smooth lines and light-catching edges.

Natural alabaster shade
Cut and polished alabaster reveals its own veining and tonal shifts. White stone becomes the visual center of the design, with subtle variations that remain visible when the light is off.

A flowing vertical silhouette
Three parallel bands curve around the ends of the elongated shade. The repeated lines bring Art Deco character, while the narrow 9cm profile keeps the composition visually restrained.
How does stone become light?
Alabaster is naturally translucent. When cut to a suitable thickness, it allows part of the LED light behind it to pass through the stone. Its fine mineral structure scatters that light, softening the appearance of the illuminated surface.
The integrated 3000K LED provides the light; the alabaster shapes its visual character. Veining, thickness and mineral variation influence which areas appear lighter or darker. The stone does not generate light on its own.

No two shades share the same veining.
Natural alabaster may show fine lines, cloud-like areas, mineral markings and variations in tone. Their placement and intensity differ from piece to piece, giving every Caldris wall light its own appearance.
Product photographs show an example, rather than the exact pattern of every shade. If you prefer lighter veining, stronger markings or a visually coordinated pair, contact us before ordering. A specified pattern requires customization and is subject to available stone; identical natural patterns cannot be guaranteed.

These are general material characteristics. Brightness, glare and durability depend on the complete fixture design. Alabaster’s advantage here is its natural variation and illuminated stone texture; it is not a waterproof or impact-resistant material.
A few things worth knowing.
Is the shade real alabaster? Will mine match the photograph?
Yes. Caldris uses natural alabaster with a metal frame. Veining, mineral markings and white-to-cream tonal differences vary naturally, so your shade will not be an exact copy of the photograph. For a particular visual preference or a coordinated pair, contact us before ordering to discuss custom stone selection and availability.
Which size should I choose for a bedside installation?
Choose 35cm for a compact accent, 60cm for a more prominent vertical line, or 80cm for a tall architectural composition. All three sizes share the listed 9 × 9cm profile. Tape the full outline to your wall and check it against your headboard, bedside furniture and seated eye position before choosing.
How high and how far apart should bedside lights be?
The planning drawings use a fixture center 150cm above the floor and a mattress top 60cm above the floor. Start with a horizontal offset of 20–35cm from each mattress edge to its fixture center. These are design examples. Adjust for your room, occupants and headboard, and have the installer confirm the actual fixing and wiring locations.
What light source and light color does it use?
Caldris has an integrated LED light source with 3000K warm white light. It does not use a standard replaceable screw-in bulb. The stone’s own color and veining can make parts of the illuminated shade look warmer or darker. Ask us to confirm wattage and lumen output if you need to meet a particular lighting target.
Can I connect it to a dimmer or smart switch?
Dimming and smart-control compatibility must be confirmed for the supplied LED driver before ordering. Integrated LED does not automatically mean dimmable. Tell us your intended control system and installation voltage so the configuration can be checked. Do not assume compatibility with an existing wall dimmer or select one solely by its wattage rating.
Can this wall light be used in a bathroom or outdoors?
This model is rated IP20 for indoor dry locations and is not waterproof. Keep it away from splashes, shower areas, condensation and outdoor exposure. Bathrooms need a location-specific assessment; choose an appropriately rated fixture where moisture protection is required. A qualified installer should confirm suitability for the intended location.
Can I customize the frame color or request a particular stone pattern?
Body-color customization is available on request. A preference for a specific type of veining also requires a custom discussion before purchase and depends on available natural stone. Exact duplication of a photographed pattern is not guaranteed. Contact us with your preferred finish and stone appearance so feasibility, price and timing can be confirmed.
How should I clean the alabaster shade and gold frame?
Switch the light off and let it cool. Gently remove loose dust from the stone with a soft, dry brush, avoiding pressure and abrasion. Keep alabaster dry; avoid soaking, acidic products, abrasive cleaners and household stain treatments. Clean the metal gently according to finish-specific instructions, keeping cleaning products away from the stone.
How long does preparation take, and is the LED serviceable?
Average preparation time is 5–10 days before dispatch; shipping time is additional. Customized finishes or stone selection may require a different schedule. Integrated LED servicing depends on the actual module, driver and assembly. Contact us to confirm replacement-part availability and service arrangements rather than assuming the LED module is user-replaceable.
Is a set of two more economical than buying separately?
Yes. The set-of-two option offers better value than purchasing two individual lights separately. It also makes it easy to plan a balanced bedside or fireplace composition. Natural stone patterns will still differ between the two shades; discuss a coordinated stone-selection request before ordering if visual similarity is especially important.

Shipping Methods:
- Free Standard Shipping: Free on all orders, with an estimated delivery time of 20-30 business days. We ship to the continental United States (48 contiguous states) only — we are unable to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, P.O. Boxes, or APO/FPO addresses.
- Expedited Shipping: Express service with a shipping time of 10-20 business days. Fees are tiered by order value, starting at $80 for orders up to $200 and rising to $760 for orders up to $2,000. For orders above $2,000, contact us for a custom quote.
- Order Processing Time: Orders are typically processed within 5-10 business days, including inventory verification, packaging, and inspection. Made-to-order pieces require an additional 5-12 business days in production. During peak seasons or promotions, please allow 1-3 business days of additional processing time.
- Carriers & Tracking: We ship with UPS, FedEx, and USPS. Every order includes full shipping insurance and package tracking. Your tracking number is emailed to you as soon as the package leaves our facility.
- Duties & Taxes: All applicable U.S. customs duties and import taxes are covered by SevernLighting. The price you see at checkout is the final price you pay.
Delivery Issues:
- Tracking Not Updating: If there is no movement on your tracking for 2-3 weeks, contact us and we will investigate with the carrier.
- Address Errors: Please double-check your address at checkout. We cannot be responsible for packages lost or misdelivered due to an incorrect address. Once shipped, address changes are not guaranteed and carriers may charge a fee.
- Marked Delivered but Missing: Check around your property and with neighbors first. If the package is still missing after 7 days, contact us and we will assist.
- Out-of-Stock Items: If an item is unavailable, we will notify you by email as soon as possible. You may wait for restock or cancel for a full refund. Your payment method is only charged once the item ships.
- Please Note: Fixtures are assembled and dispatched from our manufacturing facility in Guangdong, China. All delivery timeframes are estimates — customs clearance and local postal processing can cause delays beyond our control.

Refund & Return Policy
Return and Exchange Policy:
- 30-Day Return & Exchange Window: Contact us within 30 days of receiving your order for a return or exchange, based on the delivery date confirmed in your tracking record. Requests submitted after 30 days cannot be processed.
- Eligibility: Items must be unused and in original condition with all tags, labels, packaging, accessories, and manuals intact. Fixtures requiring assembly must be returned unassembled — pieces that have been installed, or that have damaged wiring or loosened components, are not eligible. A valid order number or proof of purchase is required.
- Non-Returnable Items: Made-to-order, customized, and personalized pieces; light bulbs and consumables once opened; items no longer in original condition or with damaged packaging; and final sale items.
Return Shipping Costs:
- Our Responsibility: If the return is due to a product quality issue, manufacturing defect, shipping damage, incorrect delivery, or a package returned to sender undelivered, we cover all return shipping costs including any applicable customs fees, and issue a full refund or a free replacement.
- Customer Responsibility: If the return is based on personal preference — color, design, or features not matching expectations, size judged incorrectly, change of mind, or ordering the wrong item, model, or quantity — the customer covers return shipping and any related customs fees.
Exchanges & Cancellations:
- Exchanges: The fastest route is to return the original piece, then place a new order once the return is approved. For quality or damage issues we cover both directions; for personal-preference exchanges, the customer covers return shipping on the original plus the full price of the new piece.
- Order Cancellation: Stock items can be cancelled free of charge within 24 hours. After 24 hours but before shipping, a $50 handling fee applies. Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled — please follow the return process instead. Made-to-order pieces cannot be cancelled once confirmed, as production begins immediately.
How to Start a Return:
- Step 1 — Submit your request: Email kay@severnlighting.com within 30 days with your order number, the items involved, a detailed reason for the return, and photos of any damage or issue.
- Step 2 — Receive your RMA number: We will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization number along with the return address. Returns sent without prior authorization cannot be accepted or processed.
- Step 3 — Pack and ship: Repack the piece securely in its original packaging with all accessories and a copy of your order confirmation. Mark the RMA number clearly on the outside of the parcel, then email us the return tracking number.
- Step 4 — Inspection: We inspect returned pieces within 3-5 business days of arrival and confirm approval by email.
Refund Processing:
- Timing: Refunds are issued automatically to your original payment method — typically 1-3 business days for PayPal and 5-7 business days for credit or debit cards. Your bank may need additional time to post the credit. If you have not received your refund within 15 business days of approval, email us with your order number.
- Return Address: Returns are received at our facility in Jiangmen, Guangdong, China. For customer-initiated returns, please factor international return shipping into your decision — we will confirm the full address and estimated cost when we issue your RMA number.
