The glass

Honey, held in clear glass

Look closely at any panel and you will find a ribbon of amber suspended in thick, textured clear glass. Because each panel is hand-formed, the ribbon loops and pools a little differently every time.

Switched off, the panels read clear with streaks of gold. Switched on, the light passes through the clear edges and catches the amber, and the five tiers glow one behind another.

No two ribbons run quite alike.

Amber ribbonThe color runs through the glass, not over its surface.

Clear edgesLight passes straight through around each ribbon.

On its own hookEvery panel hangs from the frame by itself.

What size table or room does it suit?
