The Perrin Smoked Glass Cloud Chandelier gathers dozens of smoke-grey glass discs onto a radiating gold-finished frame, layered row on row into a soft inverted dome. Each disc hangs on its own fine wire at its own depth, so the light passes through several layers of glass before it reaches the room.

FIXTURE DETAILS

That layering is what gives the fixture its character: instead of falling in a straight beam, the light scatters between overlapping discs and arrives as a diffused, atmospheric glow. Unlit, the same discs read as a drift of smoke and shadow held in metal, which is why it holds a room in daylight as well as after dark.
