The Isambard Crowned Crystal Basket Pendant Light is built as a small crown: four scrolled arms rise from a florally cast band, curl inward at the top, and hold a cage of strung crystal beads between them. Below the band the crystals fall in tiers of increasing length, ending in a fringe of faceted prisms.

FIXTURE DETAILS

Every metal surface is worked — rosettes along the crown band, swagged garlands draped between the arms, and a beaded border running the rim — so the fixture holds detail at arm's length as well as from across a room. Light sits inside the basket and passes outward through several layers of glass, arriving warmed and broken into small moving points. Finished in antique brass and clear crystal, for hardwired ceiling installation.

Finding Your Fit

At Ø 9.1″ × H 18.9″ (23 × 48cm) for the fixture body, Isambard is a small-scale piece meant to be used in numbers or in tight rooms. Over an island, hang the bottom about 30–36″ above the counter and space a run of two or three roughly 24–30″ apart, keeping at least 6″ in from each end. It hangs from a chain, so your electrician sets the final drop at installation.

What Makes It Special

01 Crystal Layered Three Deep

Beads inside the cage, swags across the band, prisms hanging below — light passes through several layers of glass before it leaves, which is what turns one small bulb into a field of scattered points.

02 Cast in the Shape of a Crown

Four scrolled arms curl up and inward exactly as a crown does, meeting at a finial above. It's the structural idea the whole fixture is built on, not a decorative flourish added at the end.

03 Faceted Prisms Along the Hem

The bottom row is cut with flat faces rather than left rounded, so each drop catches light at a different angle and the lowest edge of the fixture reads as its brightest line.
