Beneath the raised wing the body tapers into a scrolled tail that curls back against the wall, so the whole piece reads as one continuous sculpture rather than a figure attached to a bracket.

FIXTURE DETAILS

The casting holds real depth: individual feathers across the wing, drapery folds down the body, a beaded border running the edge of the backplate, and a fluted bobeche where the candle arm meets the hands. It measures W 7.09″ × H 15.75″ in a warm brass finish, mounts flush to the wall, and arrives preassembled for hardwired installation.

Mount the backplate so the candle sits above eye level — around 66–72″ from the floor works in most rooms, a little higher over a dining table. In pairs, allow 6–10″ clear on each side of a mirror or doorway so the wings are not crowded.

What Makes It Special

The wing, the drapery and the face are all cast rather than stamped, which is what allows this much relief in a piece under sixteen inches. Held close it reads as a small sculpture that happens to carry a light.
